About me:

Having worked as a journalist and photographer, my photographic style is a distinctive mix of reportage and traditional portraiture, creating intimate portraits of each family or individual.

I work together with your family, setting up a photographic session in your own home or a favourite park or garden, to create images which reflect each family in its best light.

Unlike generic studio sessions, my photographic sessions are tailored to each family, creating natural images that reflect the unique character of your family life.

In addition, having a photographic session in your own home is less disruptive, less stressful, and less time consuming than travelling to a photographer’s studio. Particularly for families with young children, this allows me to show each family in its best light, and you’ll have photographs that record some of the most important and beautiful moments in your lives: those every-day moments which all too often go unrecorded.

Once your photo-shoot is over, I painstakingly process each image individually, bringing out the best tones and – occasionally, when necessary – doing some light re-touching to make your family look its natural best.

About a week after your session, you’ll receive a CD-R of images in the post, including black and white and low resolution versions (for email and web use).

I am available throughout the Oxford area, and am often available in Cambridge. I sometimes travel further afield.
